A Message from our Chief Executive

Welcome back, I hope you managed to have some restful time over half term.

I would like to say thank you to all of you for the continued support you have given to Q3 Academies and to each other during these uncertain and difficult times.I, along with Heads of School, appreciate that these have not been the easiest of circumstances for students and their families, but it has been encouraging to hear that so many of you have been actively engaged in your learning, whether that be remotely or in the Academy.

As you may be aware, we have now heard from Boris Johnson that encouragingly some restrictions will begin to ease and that we will begin to re-open to students from Monday 8th March.

Following the announcement, there have been further details provided by the Department for Education, and we are now planning for the safe return of all our students. The re-opening plans for Q3 Academy Great Barr can be found here. We are really looking forward to welcoming our students back into our Academies.

While it is encouraging news to see that the COVID-19 rates are declining, we are still higher than the national average here in Sandwell and we must be mindful of that at all times.
