Internet Safety: Be Aware Stay Safe

The Q3 Academy uses and is involved in the use a variety of internet applications and websites for the purposes of teaching and learning , some of these website you may have used home.

As a student at the Q3 Academy you should have by now  have signed a User Acceptance Policy agreeing not to offend or intentionally disrupt or damage any equipment , most websites carry the same types warnings with regards use. you should always check the terms and conditions when using any website that in some cases asks you for persoanl information

Below are a couple of examples of various websites that you should review regularily.

We need to ensure that whilst a student within the Q3 Academy that you are fully protected from any forms of abuse be they physical or web related. that you should be Informed of and any concerns regarding the use of the internet.

Here we have gathered together some guidance and information that you can read through and discuss with your parent/s or carer at any time.

If for any reason you  have any worries or concerns relating to anything that makes you feel uncomfortable or threatended whilst using the internet. or that you feel you may be in danger of any kind, you should always seek the guidance of a parent or whilst in school a Learning Consultant.
