Following the success of our first ever virtual Parent Consultation event for Year 11 last night, we are pleased to confirm that we will be able to offer these for all other Year Groups. The Academy will reopen tomorrow to vulnerable students and the children of Critical Workers. A huge thank you to our Site Services Team for working throughout the day to ensure that the Academy grounds are much safer after so much snow. (Read more…)

Owing to poor weather conditions the Academy will be closed to all students and staff on Monday 25th January. Remote learning will continue to be available and full details can be on the ‘Home Learning’ tab here.

The Academy are proud to encourage eSafety training for parents/carers to support in keeping you and your children safe while using digital equipment. This event will take place on Tuesday 2nd Feburary at 10am.

I am delighted to be able to inform you that to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2021, the Academy has arranged for all students in Years 9, 10, and Sixth Form to participate in a live-streamed event run by the Holocaust Educational Trust. During the event, students will hear the testimony of Holocaust survivor Eve Kugler BEM as she addresses the event. and will even have to opportunity to submit questions.(Read more…)

For those parents and carers of children in receipt of the Free School Meals scheme, thank you for your patience in awaiting a national voucher system from the government. This system is currently inundated with demand and we will release your vouchers as soon as we have access to them. Our wonderful PACT committee of parents continue to meet and support the Academy even through the pandemic, and have contributed to provide support for some of our more vulnerable students. We realise that fundraising in such a difficult time for everyone is a challenge, and definitely not everyone’s priority right now.
