Q3 Academy Year 10 Triumphant Over Strong Opposition
Match Report 27/05/2010 - MSL
Year 10 played their final league game against North Birmingham Academy, again with two players missing from their squad.
Q3 Academy completed the first innings only 1 ½ rounders ahead, with North Birmingham Academy showing some fantastic batting. However, our supreme fielding held strong and limited their scoring.
The second innings proved even more successful for us with Lauren Manton demonstrating consistently superb reverse bats, confusing the opposition. Josh Bromwich and Brent Hardiman forged a fantastic fielding partnership, catching numerous batters out.
A solid performance led to Q3 Academy beating North Birmingham Academy 16 ½ - 11 ½ and coming top of the league overall.
The winners of the two leagues will battle it out for 1st place after half term. An excellent achievement-well done!
