Welcome to Q3 Design and Enterprise Academy.
Respect and care for one another is central to our philosophy, supporting students in developing a strong sense of responsibility and a real desire to play a full and active role in their community. I relish the opportunity to work with these young people as they develop into successful, resourceful and enterprising individuals.
The new Academy building, completed in April 2010, provides access to the latest, cutting-edge developments both nationally and worldwide. We were delighted to welcome HRH the Earl of Wessex to officially open the building in November 2010. State-of-the-art facilities and our 100% commitment to learning will give every young person the resources to develop their individual talents, whilst unleashing their imagination, energy and thirst for challenge.
Excellence is achieved in an encouraging atmosphere and with a high degree of personal motivation. Our A Level students have achieved excellent results gaining 100% in the two+ A2 category and the majority of them have taken up their first choice university places. Year 11 students achieved outstanding results with a tremendous 19% improvement from 44% in 2009 to 63% 5+A* - C grades including Maths and English in 2010. A large proportion of our Year 10 students have taken GCSE examinations early and we are delighted with the excellent results they have achieved. The standard has been set for the future and reflects the determination and hard work of our staff and students.
Our staff are highly skilled and think creatively, designing learning to engage every student regardless of their background or ability. Q3 students are rewarding young people, talented and motivated and a pleasure to work with. We will actively challenge and support all students to be the best they can be at all times.

and dedicated to supporting the highest quality learning experience for every young person in our care.
Parents are fully involved in their children's education and we are continually exploring ways to strengthen this partnership and reinforce home-academy links.
