Welcome back New Term
Dear Parents/Carers
Happy New Year!
Welcome back to the start of the new term and an exciting year ahead. This week during assemblies I will be encouraging students to consider what their personal and academic contributions will be in the months ahead. I will challenge all students to have ‘hope', to ‘aspire' and to ‘follow their dreams'.
I would like to apologise for the poor service received from the coach company on the first day of term. Evergreen coaches were contacted immediately to ensure there will be no further issues.
The majority of students have made a very positive start this week in relation to their business dress, and I thank you for your support with this as we are aware that there are still some outstanding issues with our supplier Clive Mark. Due to on going concerns with Clive Mark we have sourced a new supplier with effect from February (further details to follow).
If we have adverse weather conditions during the weeks ahead we will continue to endeavour to open the Academy but please check both the Q3 Website and the information provided by the local radio stations.

• 13th - 17th February 2012: Half Term
• 23rd February 2012: No Business Dress Day
• 14th March 2012: Year 8 Pathways Evening
• 26th & 27th March 2012: Academy Production (Bugsy Malone)
• 29th March 2012: Sponsor's Dinner
• 2nd - 13th April 2012: Easter Holidays
• 18th April 2012: New Intake Evening 1
• 24th April 2012: Parent Consultation Day (Years 7, 8, 12 and 13)
• 27th April 2012: Inset Day
