COVID-19 Vaccinations
We are pleased to confirm that COVID-19 Vaccinations will be administered at the Academy on Friday 19th November for students aged 12 years and over and for whom parental consent has been obtained using the eConsent form. If you have not provided consent for your child, but wish to do so now, the eConsent form is available here and must be completed by Tuesday 16th November at the latest. If you have previously consented for your child, but now wish to withdraw consent then please contact Vaccination UK using the details on the eConsent form; the Academy cannot manage consent on your behalf. If you previously provided consent, but your child has received the vaccine since then, you do not need to do anything as this will be identified by the vaccination team. We appreciate that students in Year 11 have mock examinations at this time. Therefore, the vaccination can be offered between examinations, or an appointment can be made for the vaccination at a more convenient time at a vaccination centre here. Please note that students under 16 years of age must have a parent with them if attending a vaccination centre. Vaccinations will be carried out by the NHS Immunisation Team.
