Emergency Academy Closure – Friday

All of our parents/carers have been sent a text message and email this morning to notify them that the Academy will be closed on Friday 10th March.  Students can access their learning from home through Google Classroom and additional online learning resources can be found on our Online Student Services page Closing the Academy is always a last resort, so we can only apologise when the notification to close comes so late. We will always endeavour to open the Academy where possible. However, the ongoing weather conditions make it difficult to maintain the safety of students on the Academy site and impacts our staffing numbers as to provide appropriate supervision. Take care and stay safe!

OxWell Survey

The Academy has signed up to take part in the OxWell Student Survey, which aims to understand health and wellbeing in young people and support our students’ mental wellbeing. We are asking that all parents/carers carefully read the information about the survey and discuss this with your child. The views of your child would be greatly appreciated in building both a national and Academy-level picture of mental health and wellbeing in young people. Please support your child in understanding the importance of the survey and encourage them to be as detailed and truthful as possible in their responses; the survey is anonymous. Full details for parents/carers and students, including access to the survey can be found here.
