DfE Service – Education Record

Department for Education – Digital Education Record Service

The DfE have been working on an app that will allow students to access their education information in a digital education record.

The education record is issued to students in Year 11 on the app. An education record contains:

  • student name, date of birth, and address;
  • educational establishments they have attended;
  • official qualifications like GCSE results;
  • support needs.

A nominated member of staff at the Academy will vouch for their identity and issue each student their education record on the app. Students will need a personal mobile phone or device to download the DfE education record app and be issued their education record.

Students can use the app to make application and enrolment at sixth form, college, or a training provider quicker and easier. Read more about how the DfE education record app allows students to share information digitally on Education records from the Department for Education.
