West Midlands Police have asked us to share the following statement in response to recent reports.
“We’re aware of reports in the West Midlands and nationally suggesting children from some schools are planning to take part in organised fights. We’d urge parents to speak to their children around their use of social media and other online platforms to ensure they are staying safe.”
West Midlands Police’s #LifeOrKnife website has further help and advice to support parents and carers having these conversations with their children.
Thank you for your continued support and vigilance in helping keep our community safe!
