As you’ll be aware, we follow a mixed-middle approach rather than using ability sets at KS3. Last month we shared details of the flu immunisation offered for free to all students. Students for whom a completed consent form has been returned will receive their immunisation on Tuesday 2nd November (a later catch-up date will be offered if the immunisation team are unable to process all students). We have yet to receive the date for in-Academy COVID-19 vaccinations, full details of this process and the eConsent form have been shared here.

The Tovni Lacer brand of Kickers shoes, with the trainer-style lace are not allowed to be worn as Business Dress in the Academy. The shoe has been designed to be ‘sneaker silhouette’ according to the Kickers branding, and we feel it is not an appropriate shoe for wearing in the Academy. (Read more…)

The Kaleidoscope+ Group are offering a free local service to bring people together who are the parents or carers of a young person who self-harms, to receive support and feel understood.
