Cricket Captain inspires Q3 Students

Students from Q3 Academy Great Barr and Q3 Academy Langley were given the once in a lifetime opportunity to meet Joe Root (England Cricketer recently named Test Team Captain) on 16^th February at the University of Wolverhampton (Walsall Campus).

They took part in an afternoon of coaching and got to meet Joe and ask him some questions. Students were left inspired by the session with Greta saying “it was an amazing experience”. They didn’t come away empty-handed either, Joe kindly signed a number of Cricket bats which will be exhibited in both Academies.
