Appointment of new CEO of Q3 Academies Trust
Further to my letter of April this year when I informed you about my retirement, I can now provide you with an update. I am delighted to announce that the Q3 Academies Trust have appointed a new CEO who will take up the post on 1st September.
Mr Andrew Martin has had a career in education for over thirty years covering both teaching and school leadership. He has considerable experience, both locally, regionally and nationally working with schools, academies, and education departments. Ten years ago, he set up his own company to provide strategic and operational leadership for new and existing multi academy trusts. He has a deep-seated passion for improving the life chances of young people and believes in a strong focus on Academy improvement. He is keen to share best practice and will have a strategic oversight into the opportunities and growth that will ensure Q3 Academies continue to thrive.
I will be working with Andrew over the next two weeks to ensure a smooth handover ready for welcoming back students and staff in September.
As I take a step closer to retirement, I wish you and your children continued success with the Q3 Academies Trust.
Dr Caroline Badyal
Chief Executive
