Free School Meals Voucher System Update

Information for Families who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)

We have today received confirmation that the Government has developed a national scheme to provide supermarket vouchers for eligible families at a weekly value of £15 per child.

Q3 Academies Trust took the decision to support families while awaiting guidance from the Government. Vouchers have already been issued at a weekly value of £10 per child covering the period up to Friday 1st May.  We recognise that there is a shortfall. However, we were keen to quickly support our families in providing lunches for their children.

Today we have received a large number of calls about the shortfall. Please do not call the academies, and bear with us while we establish the best way to deal with this issue.

The new national voucher scheme will enable us to email eVouchers to eligible families. We do need you to ensure that your email address is up-to-date. You will shortly be receiving a communication from us asking for this to be checked/updated.
