It is with regret that, due to significant staff absence, the Academy will be closed to Years 8 and 9 on Friday 18^th March 2022, returning on Monday 21^st March 2022, and closed to Year 7 on Monday 21^st March 2022. All other Year groups should attend as normal.(Read more…)

Many parents/carers, seeing what is happening on the news, will be asking this question, not knowing what to do for the best. Cover it up and tell them it’s all going to be fine? How do you do that when it’s all over social media, and TikTok is prompting young people to ask ‘Is this World War 3?’

As you may already be aware, there was an incident after the Academy day on Tuesday 1^st March where one of our students received serious but not life threatening injuries.

We are working with West Midlands Police on this matter and Sandwell Council are providing support to students.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the student, their family, and friends at this difficult time.
