As you may be aware, the government has today announced that there will be a further staggered start to the new term in January. This is to try to reduce the transmission of the virus following the return of students after Christmas, and to allow us to implement additional measures to help keep everyone safe.
These new guidelines mean that there will now be some year groups attending the Academy and other year groups learning from home. (Read more…)

I am writing to thank you for your support to the Academy this year. It has been the most difficult of times for everyone and has required the Academy and families to change plans frequently in response to COVID cases. This has not only been complex for the Academy to manage on a day to day basis, but will have often meant it unavoidably impacted on your own arrangements at short notice.(Read more…)
It’s finally here, the annual Q3 Academy Great Barr Christmas performance! Grab yourself a mince pie, sit back, and enjoy! Merry Christmas and a very prosperous New Year from everyone at Q3 Academy Great Barr!
We hope that our students and staff have enjoyed a well-deserved Easter break.
Students finish for Easter at 12:15pm on Friday 27th March and return at the normal time of 8:45am on Tuesday 14th April.
