The Academy has signed up to take part in the OxWell Student Survey, which aims to understand health and wellbeing in young people and support our students’ mental wellbeing. We are asking that all parents/carers carefully read the information about the survey and discuss this with your child. The views of your child would be greatly appreciated in building both a national and Academy-level picture of mental health and wellbeing in young people. Please support your child in understanding the importance of the survey and encourage them to be as detailed and truthful as possible in their responses; the survey is anonymous.

The teachers’ union, NEU are taking further industrial strike action in England and Wales on:
Wednesday 1st March 2023
Wednesday 15th March 2023
Thursday 16th March 2023.

The other main teaching union, the NASUWT, has directed its members not to cover lessons of those teachers on strike. Regrettably this means that we are unable to open the Academy as normal. (Read more…)

If you have any items of Business Dress or Sports Kit that are still in good condition, but that your child has outgrown, then we would gladly welcome them in order to be able to continue to offer this service; please ask your child to hand items in to their Personal Tutor.
