The way we see ‘homework’ is that it encourages our students to practise recalling knowledge outside of lessons, fostering the all important skill of independence. Students at KS3 (Years 7-9) should spend approximately 30 minutes per subject on homework. Students should then spend at least an hour on homework and independent study at KS4 (Years 10-11) and KS5 (Years 12 – 13), in addition to any work specifically set for their courses.  Students can access their online learning platforms here.
