Parent and Carer Letter – Year 8 Student Receptionist

The Academy has established a unique opportunity for all Year 8 students where they will be able to build confidence and achieve key objectives of Social, Moral, Spiritual and Cultural aspects of their student life.

All students in Year 8 will be required to fulfill a number of hours on student reception (compulsory) during the academic year 2017 – 2018. This we hope will enable students to gain the necessary transferable skills, confidence and work ethic which will allow them to achieve more in later years.  Each student that completes the required hours will receive a Certificate of Achievement to add to their portfolio and there will be prizes for those that go above and beyond during their time on student reception.
