The Academy does not have facilities for long term storage of certificates. If not collected they will be shredded by December 2019. You may collect at the following dates/times:

Year 11 Subject Interventions
I am pleased to be able to share with you our first timetable of intervention support for Year 11 students, running until the next set of mock examinations are completed in January 2019.

I would like to invite parents and carers of students in Years 11 and 13 to a Parents’ Consultation Evening on Tuesday 27th November 2018.
Parent and Carer Letter – Food Bank Boxes
Dear Parents/Carers,
Throughout this week I am delivering assemblies on thankfulness and charitable giving to link with the harvest season. To follow on from this, I am launching a competition for all Learning Families to create a food box that can be donated to the local food bank in Great Barr. Students will have the opportunity to donate items to the food box and also decorate the box during Tutor Time throughout the follow week.

I would like to invite Parents and Carers of students in Years 7 and 12 to a Consultation day on Thursday 18th October 2018. Please note the Academy will finish at its normal time of 3.05pm for all students.

Welcome back to the new academic year 2018-2019.
The term is now well underway and we are delighted that our students have settled into the new academic year so well. I am particularly impressed with our new Year 7 students and with the warm welcome they have been shown by older students. We are equally proud that so many of our former Year 11 students have achieved the grades they needed to return to our Sixth Form.
Parent and Carer Letter – Operation Encompass
The Academy has been given the opportunity to take part in a project that will be run jointly between schools and West Midlands Police.
Macron Sizing Event
Our sports kit provider, Macron, are holding a sizing event at Q3 Academy Great Barr on Tuesday 2nd October from 3.00pm-7:30pm.
The event will showcase the Academy sport kit and reduce the need for exchanges, due to incorrect sizes being ordered.
