Q3 General Election
Students at Q3 Academy will be getting involved with politics next week during the run up to the General Election. As well as a mock Downing Street set up in the Design Centre, students will be learning about each party and their manifestos throughout the week before finally having the chance to vote on Thursday 7th May at break and lunch time.
Politics and Business students will count the votes and the winner will be announced at 3.00pm. During Friday tutor time, students will be given the chance to reflect on the process and policies, as well as learn about how other countries are run in a non-democratic society.
