Safe Return of CCF Cadet Training

After a very long absence, we are delighted to inform you that CCF RAF Air Cadets is restarting for existing Cadets. We are planning to return to Cadet Training on alternate weeks depending on the Cadet’s Year Group. Each individual Year Group’s training will be totally separate and training will be done in accordance with the Q3 Academy Great Barr/RAFAC COVID-19 Guidelines.

  • Week 1 (starting Wednesday 16th September) will be Year 9 and Sixth Form
  • Week 2 (starting Wednesday 23rd September) will be Year 10 and Year 11

The time the Cadets will be with us has reduced to allow for thorough cleaning. Cadets will arrive after their respective final Tutor Time session and be will be released at 4:30pm.

All Cadets and Staff will be in DPM until further notice. Obviously we have had a six month hiatus, and all Cadets will have grown considerably in this time. If this is the case and uniform does not fit, Cadets should come to the Academy in their normal Academy Business Dress (with DPM in a bag), and we will look to exchange this as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance for your support. If you have any questions please contact any of the CCF Staff.
