COVID-19 Lateral Flow Testing

You will have heard in the news that students returning to education will be offered lateral flow tests. We are awaiting delivery of the equipment and have been working hard over the holidays to plan carefully for this. There is now a ‘Testing’ tab on our dedicated Coronavirus page here which provides an overview of the process.

We will add more information to this page as it becomes available. The dates and times that testing will be available for your child will be communicated directly to you in due course. 

Students will require a printed, signed consent form to be tested. There is a video explaining the process here. If you have any questions that are not answered on our website or in this video, then please submit them ahead of the webinar where they will be answered live at 6pm on Tuesday 5th January – the form to submit questions and link to the webinar can be found here.

A reminder of the new return dates for students as per updated government guidelines are:

Students in Year 11 and Year 13 return on Monday 11th January

Students in Years 7-10 and Year 12 return on Monday 18th January

Students in Years 7-10 who have no supervision available at home and who meet the appropriate criteria set out by the government here, may attend from Tuesday 5th January providing that parents/carers have completed the online registration form in advance.
