We have been advised that there has been a confirmed case of COVID-19 within the Academy. We are continuing to monitor the situation and are working closely with Sandwell Public Health.

The Academy remains open, and providing your child remains well they can continue to attend as normal. We will keep this under review, and have already contacted any students and staff who have been in direct or close contact with the affected student; these students and staff will not be attending the Academy, and have been directed to self-isolate.

Year 11 students will today be receiving an important letter about a virtual event for your child and for you as parents/carers. This is an important year for your child, as they are preparing for challenging GCSE exams and starting to make key decisions about their future education and career.

We are delighted to be able to make some adjustments to further improve the smooth running of the Academy day following feedback from students, parents/carers, and staff.
