FoQus Magazine

FoQus Magazine Summer/Autumn 2018 It is my privilege to introduce this special ‘10th Anniversary Edition’ of the FoQus magazine. Our values and ethos, supported by an absolute determination to provide an innovative, high quality learning experience for every student has continued to drive success. The Q3 journey began in September 2008 starting a new chapter in the education of students on the Great Barr site (formerly home to Dartmouth High School). Staff and students rose to the challenge and excitement of the new Academy, with Q3 recognised as the top performing school in Sandwell in 2012. Our success and passion to reach more students in Sandwell resulted in the opening of our second Academy, Q3 Academy Langley, in September 2016. Q3 Academy Langley is now entering its third year of operation and is the school of choice for children in the area. Both Academies are over-subscribed with long waiting lists; this reflects our pursuit of excellence in all that we do. Our students are happy, ambitious, caring and resourceful, supported by a talented and highly skilled team of staff who always ‘go the extra mile’. In September, we welcomed Q3 Academy Tipton (formerly ACE Academy) to the family. We are delighted to be working with the staff, students and their families...
