Our Year 9 Pathways event will be starting on Monday 29th March 2021. This will be an opportunity for you and your child to discuss and explore possible option subjects for Year 10, along with the alternative Pathways which will allow for best progression from Key Stage 3 into Key Stage 4 and beyond.(Read more…)
Unfortunately, as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic, we have made the decision not to carry out external Work Experience with our Year 10 students this year. Many companies have contacted us to say that due to the current climate, they will be unable to offer placements this summer.(Read more…)
We have invested heavily in a variety of online learning platforms to support students, particularly in the current situation. Tassomai being one of the most popular tools to complement our online teaching and to underpin key concepts in English, Mathematics, and Science. The founder of Tassomai is running helpful webinars for parents/carers to ensure that they know both how their child can make best use of the platform, and to raise awareness of the features available to parents/carers. Following the success of our first ever virtual Parent Consultation event for Year 11 last night, we are pleased to confirm that we will be able to offer these for all other Year Groups. Owing to changes to the Academy calendar caused by the ongoing lockdown restrictions, we have had to amend some of these dates from those originally published.(Read more…)
The Academy will reopen tomorrow to vulnerable students and the children of Critical Workers. A huge thank you to our Site Services Team for working throughout the day to ensure that the Academy grounds are much safer after so much snow. (Read more…)
